RIGGER COURSE
Module: P-2.4 + P-4.4 & simple lifting devices.Rigger Course for Offshore and Onshore Industry (NORSOK R-003 and R-005)
This course covers both theory and practical training in accordance with NORSOK R-003 and R-005, and is designed to meet the requirements for work in both offshore and onshore industries.
- Rigger Course (5 days – P-2.4 + P-4.4)
Comprehensive rigger training including both theoretical and practical instruction. - Simple Lifting Equipment (2 days – P-2.4)
The theoretical part of the course. - Practical Rigger Course (4 days – P-4.4)
The practical part focusing on safe rigging and the use of lifting equipment.
If you would like the rigger course that includes both theory and practical training, the 5-day course is the correct option.
Please note that prerequisite courses are not included in the rigger course and must be completed beforehand.

Requirements and Certification
The Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority (ATIL) and the Norwegian Ocean Industry Authority (HAVTIL) require basic safety certification for riggers.
These requirements include both theoretical and practical training in the use of simple lifting equipment and safe rigging operations.
To successfully complete the course, participants must pass both a theoretical and a practical exam.
