BIKS offers crane and lifting courses in both Norwegian and English.

Our courses are designed for personnel working in both onshore and offshore industries.
We provide G4, G8, and G20 crane operator training, either including or excluding the G11 Lifting Equipment module — depending on your needs.
If you do not already hold a G11 certificate, it can be combined with your chosen crane operator course.

Prerequisite:
G11 Lifting Equipment certification is required for all crane operator training.
If you don’t have it yet, you can take it as a combined course with your G4, G8, or G20 training.

The Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority (ATIL) and the Norwegian Ocean Industry Authority (HAVTIL) require basic safety certification for operating lifting equipment and cranes.
The training includes both theoretical and practical instruction, and participants must pass both a written and a practical exam to complete the course.
