G11 Lifting gear Module 1 og 2.3BIKS offers courses in Norwegian and English – select your preferred language and date when registering.
The course is suitable for everyone working in both onshore and offshore industries.
The Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority (ATIL) and the Petroleum Safety Authority (HAVTIL) require basic safety certification for the use of G11 lifting equipment for crane operators, slingers/riggers, and signalers.
The requirements include both theoretical and practical training.
To complete the course, participants must pass a theoretical exam.

G11 Lifting equipment course provides basic safety training for people associated with cranes and lifting operations in accordance with Regulations on the execution of work no. 703 § 10-1 10-2 & 10-3.
The course is aimed at those who will work as banksman, slingers & signalers and those who will through training as a crane operator. The G11 course is also compulsory for those who, for example must take a rigger course and course for securing goods / cargo carriers in containers.
