Documented Safety Training

Documented safety training means that the company (employer) is responsible for providing and documenting the required training for the work equipment being used. The purpose of this training is to prevent accidents, injuries, and hazardous situations.

Both the employer and the employee must sign to confirm that the training has been completed. Only individuals who can present a signed and valid training document are permitted to use the specific work equipment.

Courses Requiring Documented Training

These courses are offered upon request only and require a minimum of 5 participants:

• Scaffolding User Course – § 17-5

• Scaffolding Erector Course 2–5 meters

• Scaffolding Erector Course up to 9 meters

• The Dangers of Stone Dust

• Dangerous Small Tools (Safe Use of Handheld Tools)

• DROPS Dropped Object
