About the course
The Basic Regulatory Understanding (RVK) course provides an introduction to the regulatory framework for Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) in the Norwegian petroleum industry.

The purpose of the course is to give participants a better understanding of how the regulations are structured, the requirements placed on companies and employees, and how the regulations are applied in practical HSE work.

The course facilitates reflection and discussion on key topics, and the content can be adapted to the company's activities if required.

Target group
The course is designed for employees and managers in the petroleum-related industry who require a basic understanding of the HSE regulatory framework.

This may include personnel working within operations, maintenance, projects, management or support functions.

• Structure of the HSE regulatory framework in the petroleum industry
• The Activities Regulations and key provisions
• The importance of the Working Environment Act in petroleum activities
