The course is a 40-hour training course for practice on a G5 offshore crane. 40 hours of basic training in a G5 crane with an instructor in a certified training company provides the equivalent of 75 hours of practical driving offshore.
After completing the course, the remaining hours must be taken with an approved sponsor offshore.
If you have a certificate of competence on a G20 crane - 35 hours offshore remaining.
If you do not have a certificate of competence on a G20 crane - 75 hours offshore remaining.

- Practice in lifting various light and heavy loads
