Confined Space Entry with Breathing Apparatus (BA)

Working in confined spaces involves risks that require the right competence, careful planning, and the use of appropriate personal protective and rescue equipment. This course provides participants with the theoretical knowledge and practical training required for safe confined space entry, gas detection, and the use of breathing apparatus (BA), fall protection equipment, and rescue equipment.

Through a combination of classroom instruction and practical exercises, participants gain hands-on experience with the equipment and working methods used when operating in confined spaces.

Target Group

This course is designed for personnel who work in or around confined spaces and who use breathing apparatus (BA) during confined space entry, inspection, maintenance, or rescue operations.

Duration: 1 day

Course Hours: 08:00–15:00

Price: NOK 5,900 per participant

Prerequisites: Completion of Fall Protection Basic Course NS 9610 or Fall Protection Basic Course in accordance with Offshore Norway Guideline 113.

Course Certificate: A course certificate is issued upon successful completion of the training.

Regulations

The course is based on the current requirements of the Norwegian Working Environment Act, the Regulations concerning the Performance of Work, and relevant requirements and recommendations for safe work in confined spaces.
